*All horses in these classes must be registered American Gaited Mountain Horse
- All youth 11 and under shall wear a helmet during under saddle competition classes
- Pre-entry and stall reservations are due by August 17, 2012
Post-entries, adds, scratches and any changes are due in the show office no later than ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE START OF EACH SESSION. Prior Entered Horses may be entered/scratched/changed within 5 classes prior to the class to be entered/scratched/changed.
- Cross entries are prohibited during the entire 2012 UMH World Show
- The current United Mountain Horse, Inc. rules will apply to each division during the show. Rules are available at the show office
- These classes do not qualify for the World Grand Championships class # 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 23, 31, 49 ,51, 61, 62, 63,
- Horse must show in a minimum of one under saddle class to qualify for a World Grand Championship class
- Owner and Exhibitor must be a member of United Mountain Horse
- Entry Fee: Pre-entry fee $25.00 Post entry $30.00
Championship Classes: Pre-entry $35.00 Post-entry $40.00
Grand Championship Classes: $50.00
No Entry Fee For: Lead Line, Grooms, Bourbon and Walk Only Classes
- Horse must be pre-entered at least one time to qualify for the pre-entry fee throughout the entire show

Entry Deadline: All entries, scratches and changes of Prior Entered Horses may be made in the Show Office within 5 classes prior to the class to be entered/scratched/changed.
Barn Reservations: Must be pre-paid by August 17, 2012 to insure availability of stalls. Please contact Julie Clark, show manager at 859.274.6394 there is no “out of trailer fees this year!”
Stalls are $25.00 per day 4th day is free! Includes 2 bags of shavings extra bags are $7.00 each.
This is a World Show; please keep all stalls and barns neat and tidy.
Parking Permits: Are required for anyone parking in the barn area (behind barns 1-5). Each farm that reserves stalls will receive one free parking pass for every five stalls they reserve: additional Barn Parking passes may be purchased at the show office at $25.00 for the entire show. General Parking permits are also available for the parking area closest to the show ring. Weekly General Parking permits are $20.00. Parking permits also include admittance for everyone in your vehicle. After unloading of horse/tack, trailers must be parked in the
Trailer Drop Area located along the fence row to the left of the entrance gate to the grounds. If you are trailering back and forth each day you may park in the Day Parking Area (next to the warm-up ring) during the show. Trailers cannot be parked next to the barns, in the Barn Parking area or General Parking area. We appreciate your cooperation as we try to keep our roads and fire lanes clear and save parking spaces for cars and trucks.
Camping: There are a number of camping spaces available. Please make your reservations early. You may add them to your entry form…the cost is $25.00 per day includes water and electric hookup. A shower house/rest room is available for your convenience.
Dogs: Bring your dogs, we even have a class for them on Saturday at our dog show, however for the safety of everyone no dogs are permitted on the show premises (grounds, barns, etc.) unless on a leash, in hand, or secured in a stall.
Golf Carts: No one under the age of 16 is allowed to drive a golf cart or motorized vehicle on the show grounds. United Mountain Horse, Inc. and the Kentucky Equestrian Center reserve the right to impound any vehicle, including but not limited to golf carts that are driven by anyone in a reckless manner. Vehicles will remain impounded until such time as the owner can remove them from the property.
VIP Seating: Ringside Cabanas seating for 6 $150.00 must be reserved by August 20, 2012
Ticket Prices: General Admission $5.00 per person or $10.00 per vehicle. Multi day passes available. Proceeds to benefit the Powell County High School Arts Club.
Show Office Hours: The show office will be open 2 hours before each session and until the end of each session.
Show Ring Hours: The show ring will close 2 hours before each session and lights will be turned off and MUST remain off 30 minutes after the closing of nightly sessions.
Progressive Barn Party and Poker Run: Wednesday August 29, 2012 After the Youth Fun Show, everyone is invited to attend, visit each barn, and participate in the poker run. Each barn will offer free food and drink for your enjoyment. What a great time to meet old friends and make new ones!
Exhibitors & Associates Cookout: August 30, 2012 @ 1:00pm The United Mountain Horse Inc. invites you to attend the annual Associates Meeting and Cookout. Free hamburgers and hotdogs!
Ice Cream Social/ .50 cent Sundaes: September 1, 2012 @ 3:00pm Dog Show, bring your dog for lots of fun classes with prizes to the winners. We will also have a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting and a fun time for everyone.
Toast To The Champions: September 1, 2012 after the final championship class, under the concessions stand pavilion, free to all exhibitors, owners and trainers. Join us as we toast the 2012 Champions!
